Bio
Tai Lipan holds an MFA in painting from Western Carolina University and has studied at the Chautauqua Institute School of Art and American University’s Art in Italy program.
Lipan serves as an Associate Teaching Professor at Northern Arizona University and co-manages the Beasley Gallery. Alongside her academic role, she maintains a dedicated studio practice and a strong exhibition record.
Her work has been showcased in recent exhibitions at Blue Mountain Gallery, Prince Street Gallery, and Trestle Gallery in New York, as well as the Bristol Art Museum in Rhode Island, the Indianapolis Arts Center, Women Made Gallery in Chicago, and universities including the University of North Carolina Pembroke and Marshall University. Lipan’s recent solo exhibitions include those at the Harrison Center for the Arts in Indianapolis, Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts in Wisconsin, Marion University, and the Ballweg Gallery in Madison, Wisconsin.
